Tennessee River Downtown Knoxville Tour

Choose our downtown skyline and UT stadium, or head toward the islands for wildlife viewing!

Service Description

Option 1: Leaving from Ned McWherter Riverside Landing Park, we will head upstream around the islands, Otter and Dickinson, cruising past Ijams Nature Center, with tons of wildlife viewing along the way. As we come back around the island we can get a close-up view of the Flight Academy practicing their take-off's overhead, then a leisurely float with the current back to enjoy a spectacular view of our Knoxville skyline! Option 2: We will paddle under the historic Henley Street bridge and along the UT campus, with views of Neyland Stadium and Vol Navy. Enjoy the downtown scenery and beautiful skyline; exceptionally pretty at sunset, but beautiful at all times of day. Price includes rental!

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation is required 3 days prior to class for full refund. Due to limited class size, we need to have time to rebook your cancellation. We do not give refunds for less than 3 days notice, but will make every attempt to reschedule an alternative class/tour for you. No-show/no-call will be unable to book a future class/tour without full payment upon booking.

            Refund requests must be made by email 3 days prior to class. 

 Changes in date or class substitution to be requested 3 days prior to class.   

Certain physical criteria requirements need to be met in order book a class.  Students must be able to swim, rotate/bend at the waist, have good knee mobility to enter/exit a kayak, maintain a sealed airway while under water, and have good shoulder rotation.
